Program Information:

CET China: Virtual Intensive Language & Culture

CET is offering virtual versions of our intensive language programs for Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese in summer 2020. Full details are available on our website.

Program Features:
  • 12-15 hours per week of live, synchronous sessions with CET language instructors including one-on-one sessions
  • Asynchronous coursework and assignments in CET's Canvas platform
  • Opportunities for cultural immersion through peer-to-peer interaction with language partners and virtual activities that place the student in the local culture
  • Optional non-credit virtual internship with an organization in China

Students will earn 9 credits in the target language and receive a transcript from the University of Minnesota, CET's school of record.

Applications are due May 15 and students from all U.S. institutions are eligible to apply.
